NORTH CAROLINA

	There were a handful of these bonus errors involving US 15 south of Oxford, NC,   Taken by Mapmikey, spring 2011.
	This is actually US 117 ALT in Calypso NC, not mainline US 117. This error goes back to at least March 2008 GMSV.   Taken by Mapmikey, 7/5/13.
	Although not easy to make out, this is a NC 45 shield but it should be a NC 94 shield as this is NC 94 turning right at US 264. I spotted this shield in person but the photo didn't turn out...the next time I was there it was fixed. But the March 2009 GMSV has it.
	At first glance there would seem to be nothing wrong. Until you realize this is at the NC 731 jct with US 220 ALT. It is NC 731 that continues ahead, not NC 73.   Taken by Mapmikey 12/7/12.

SOUTH CAROLINA

	A bonus (and rare) error from South Carolina using SC 178 shields at the US 321 junction in North, SC   Taken by Jimmy Summers, 11/23/10.

	Westbound leaving I-95 in Dillon. This is the first example I've seen of the new state route shield style done in a square instead of a rectangle.   Taken by Mapmikey, 2/1/14.

MARYLAND

	This is brand new MD 200 westbound approaching I-95 near Laurel MD. Go big or go home...   Taken by CP Zillacus, 1/11/15.
	This is MD 20 east in Rock Hall. The MD 445 marker on the left hand side is pointing the wrong way.   Taken by Mapmikey, 11/8/14.
	Evidently US 522's short run through Hancock MD is not short enough to prevent an error...   Taken by Mapmikey, 7/5/14.

NEW YORK

	OK...we start off with a bonus error of a Virginia US route elsewhere (Bronx, NY). A rather unique interstate error shield. Thanks to Steve Alpert for pointing this out in a response to me on MTR. From the other direction on Gun Hill Rd, US 1 is posted correctly with 70s vintage shields. This was still there as of Aug 2012 GMSV.   Taken by Mapmikey, 6/24/06.

	Here is a daily double on US 6-9-202 in Peekskill NY. There was an error NY 202 shield on the assembly right behind me.   Taken by Mapmikey, 9/28/14.
	This is on 178th St right after US 9 leaves I-95 northbound. An error of omissin lurks ahead as there is no marker telling you to turn left at Broadway.   Taken by Mapmikey, 10/8/16.

MASSACHUSSETTS

	I don't remember where this was but it was taken 70 minutes driving time east of the pic below.   Taken by Mapmikey, 6/26/06.
	This was in Seekonk MA just outside Providence RI. Still up as of Aug 2011 GMSV.   Taken by Mapmikey, 6/26/06.

NEW JERSEY

	This black-and-white interstate shield for US 9 was on the Garden State Pkwy NB at Exit 29.   Taken by Mapmikey, 4/20/13.
	This NJ 9 shield was on CR 575 at the Garden State Pkwy in Galloway NJ.   Taken by Mapmikey, 4/20/13.
	This second NJ 9 shield was on the SB Garden State Pkwy at Exit 44 CR 575 in Galloway NJ.   Taken by Mapmikey, 4/20/13.
	This is the intersection of US 46 and NJ 183 in Netcong NJ. The NJ 46 shield is in the center-right of the photo.   Taken by Mapmikey, 8/31/13.

RHODE ISLAND

	This was located on US 44 at WB Fruit Hill Ave in North Providence RI. This is shown as corrected in the June 2011 GMSV.   Taken by Mapmikey, 6/26/06.
	This was located on US 44 EB just past I-295 in Smithfield RI. Because it was 4 a.m., I was able to sit in the middle of road to get this shot. This is still up as of Sept 2012 GMSV.   Taken by Mapmikey, 6/28/06.

PENNSYLVANIA

	US 119 SB crossing the Cheat River in Point Marion, PA   Taken by Mapmikey, Sept 2011.
	This is on US 322 WB at PA 23 in Blue Ball, PA. This goes back to at least to Aug 2011 GMSV.   Taken by Mapmikey, 5/25/13.

	Westbound PA 16 in Waynesboro. Not many of these narrow PA shields...   Taken by Mapmikey, 5/9/15.

DELAWARE

While I'm confident Virginia is the first state when it comes to shield errors, here is one from the actual First State, in Lewes.   Taken 1/14/12.

INDIANA

Westbound US 40 in Richmond IN at US 27 and IN 227.   Taken by Mapmikey, 7/11/15.

OHIO

	This faded red and blue I-70 shield has the word 'Loop' instead of 'OHIO' and is leftover from when I-70 Business was signed through Springfield a long time ago. So this is the wrong kind of shield on the wrong kind of route...   Taken 7/11/15.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

	Northbound BC 17 leaving central Victoria. This one is hard to see with the shadows. This used to be a BC 1-A shield which would've been okay but the removed the A which makes this an error for Trans Canada Highway 1.   Taken by Mapmikey, 9/28/14.
