NC 452: Appears in an April 1999 NCDOT route change document. It assigns NC 452 to the 17.4 miles of unbuilt road from US 158 north to US 52 in western Forsyth County.
The project number that is referenced, R-2247, does not refer to NC 452 by name anywhere in the NCDOT website that I can find. However, this is the Western side of the Winston-Salem Beltway and is supposed to ultimately be signed as I-274, which if I-74 exists at the US 52 end by then would preclude the need for the 452 designation.
