NC 472: Appears in an June 2014 NCDOT route change request document. It assigns NC 472 to the 18.8 miles of planned road from I-540 near the RDU Airport north to US 501 north of Durham.
The project number that is referenced, U-4721, does not refer to NC 452. This project is currently unfunded as of the Oct 2014 STIP - link.
