Creation: SC 113 appeared in Dec 1937 (SCDOT) as new primary routing, running from US 1 Clubhouse Crossroads south to Gilbert. This is the only SC 113.
Adjustments: In 1939, SC 113 was extended north as new primary routing to end at SC 43 (now US 378).
In 1940, SC 113 was extended south as new primary routig to SC 215 (now SC 302) Wagener.
In 1942, SC 113 was extended south as new primary routing to end at SC 390 (now S-2-22) southwest of Salley.
In 1947, the entire 36 miles of SC 113 were decommissioned, leaving behind S-2-38, S-2-28, S-32-37 (I-20 cuts this off - south of I-20 it is now S-32-774), S-32-24, and S-32-37 (now also S-32-24).
In 1949, SC 113 was restored in its current routing.
Improvements: SC 113 was paved in 1949; no multilane sections.
Comment: SC 113 is a lonely road not serving much traffic.
