SC 220: Appeared in 1940 as new primary routing from SC 210 (now US 21) east to SC 6 outside St Matthews.
In 1942, SC 220 was extended west as new primary routing to end at SC 605 (now S-9-29).
In 1947, SC 220 was downgraded to S-9-16 east of SC 210 and S-9-28 west of SC 210. All of it is S-9-16 today.
SC 222 appears in western Fairfield County
