SC 235: Appeared in 1940 as new primary routing cutoff from US 21/SC 2 (now US 176) Hammonds Crossroads to SC 691 (now S-9-24).
In 1942, SC 235 was extended in both directions as new primary routing: west to SC 6-210 and east to SC 267 (now S-9-25/150 jct) Ft. Motte.
In 1947, SC 235 was downgraded to S-9-30, S-9-34 (now S-9-23), S-9-23, S-9-21 (now S-9-24), and S-9-25.
