Adjustments: In 1947, SC 295 was extended north over US 176 ALT to US 176 (now SC 56).
About 1954, SC 295 north was truncated to its current endpoint (then-US 29). Some of SC 295 became part of US 29 (now I-85 Bus), S-42-23, and S-42-2.
In 1963, SC 295 south was rerouted to follow SC 296 east a mile, then southeast over new construction to end at SC 56 near Camp Croft. The route down to Roebuck became an extended SC 215.
In 1976, SC 295 east was extended over S-42-66 and S-42-34 to US 176/SC 9 near Pacolet. This had been the path of SC 9 years earlier.
