Creation: SC 300 appeared in 1940 as new primary routing, running from SC 3 (now US 278) near Barnwell southeast to the Allendale Line. This is the only SC 300.
Adjustments: In 1942, SC 300 was extended southeast as new primary routing through Ulmers to end at SC 641.
In 1947, SC 300 was downgraded to S-6-18, S-3-44 west of Ulmers, US 301 in Ulmers (now S-3-145 Creech St and abandoned routing), and S-3-46 east of Ulmers.
In 1949, SC 300 was brought back to its current configuration.
