Creation: SC 308 appeared in 1940 as new primary routing, running as it does today. This is the only SC 308.
Adjustments: In 1947, SC 308 was downgraded to S-30-21 from Clinton to SC 30 (now SC 49) and S-30-22 from SC 30 to US 221.
In 1949, SC 308 was restored to primary status.
Improvements: SC 308 was paved in 1949; no multilane sections exist.
Comment: SC 308 is the daughter of SC 49's predecessor, SC 30 #2.
