In 1947, SC 343 was downgraded to S-21-26 and S-16-17. SC 343 used S-21-26/S-21-356/S-16-179 McIver Rd; S-16-1018/S-21-1134 Muses Bridge Rd; abandoned routing at I-95 Exit 169; S-21-26 TV Road/Pocket Rd/Williston Rd; S-16-495 Georgetown Rd.
