SC 397: Appeared in 1940 as new primary routing, running from SC 231 (now S-19-17) northeast to SC 392 Ridge Spring.
In 1942, SC 397 was extended with SC 392 then east along SC 23-39, then north as new routing to end at today's S-41-75.
Between 1943-46, SC 397 was extended south as new primary routing to the Aiken County Line.
In 1947, SC 397 was downgraded to S-19-46 (now S-19-20), S-19-20, S-41-22, and S-41-35.
