SC 508: Appeared in 1940 as new primary routing, running from SC 331 (now SC 641) Allendale northeast to SC 5 (now US 321) Ulmers.
In 1947, SC 508 was renumbered as part of US 301. It is unclear if SC 508 was removed from today's S-3-289 and private dirt road in the Jackson Creek area prior to the US 301 renumbering or not. SC 508 did not use today's US 301 in Ulmers. It used S-3-145 Creech St which no longer connects to US 301 near SC 300.
