SC 610: Appeared in 1939 as new primary routing. Ran from US 17 (now S-10-1024 Old Charleston Hwy) Red Top south to SC 61 (now SC 700) Johns Island.
In 1942, SC 610 was extended south to end at today's S-10-20/2301 junction.
In 1946, SC 610 was downgraded to S-10-20 north of SC 700 and S-10-45 south of SC 700. All of it is the very busy S-10-20 today.
