SC 921: Appeared in 1939 as new primary routing, running from US 176 (now SC 18) Union south about 3 miles to roughly today's S-44-163 Deep Water Rd.
In 1940, SC 921 was extended as new primary routing south through what is now Rose Hill State Park to SC 922 (S-44-18).
In late 1947, all 11.1 miles of SC 921 was downgraded to S-44-16. SC 921 likely used today's S-44-427 Honey Bee Cir near Union.
