Creation: Appeared in 1983 running from US 19W-23 (now S. Roan St) Okolona to TN 67 (now just Milligan Hwy) Milligan College. This was a renumbering of TN 67A.
Adjustments: In 1986-87 (bridge dates), TN 359 was extended in both directons to the current endpoints: South replacing US 19W-23 about a third of a mile then west to the immediately adjacent new I-181 freeway North replacing TN 67 TEMP out to the new US 321/TN 67 expressway.
