Begins at NC 150 northwest of Mooresville (Iredell County) and ends at US 52 Rockwell (Rowan County).

History:

NC 152 was born in 1930 as new primary routing, running from NC 150 east of Mooresville to NC 80 (now US 52) Rockwell.
About 1955, NC 152 was extended west with NC 150, then replaced parts of NC 150 and NC 150-A through Mooresville to its current endpoint.
In Aug 2003 (NCDOT), NC 152 was rerouted in Mooresville to use Cherry St northwest from downtown to NC 150, leaving behind unnumbered McLelland St.
In Dec 2003 (NCDOT), NC 152 was rerouted in China Grove to cross old US 29A, replacing SR 1337 over to US 29-601, then duplexed with US 29-601 north back to existing NC 152. This left behind SR 2739 (old US 29A).

In Dec 2003 (NCDOT), NC 152 was rerouted in China Grove to cross old US 29A, replacing SR 1337 over to US 29-601, then duplexed with US 29-601 north back to existing NC 152. This left behind SR 2739 (old US 29A).
