NC 242-A: Appeared in 1939 as a new designation. Ran as a cutoff between NC 242 and NC 24 in Roseboro.
NC 242-A was still active on the 1968 Sampson County map.
Today it is just Roseboro St. NC 242-A was shown on main maps from 1939 to at least 1946 and does not appear on the 1951 issue.
