SC 21: An original state highway that ran from the Georgia line at North Augusta north through Edgefield, Greenwood, and Greenville before heading northwest into North Carolina at Caesars Head.
About 1925, SC 21 was rerouted at Travelers Rest to instead head north replacing SC 29 into the Tar Heel State headed for Tuxedo. The old route via Caesars Head became SC 211. Today it is US 276.
