SC 104: Appeared in 1939 as new primary routing, running from SC 43 (now US 378) McCormick northeast 4 miles.
In 1940, SC 104 was extended north as new primary routing to end at SC 10 between Troy and Bradley.
In 1942, SC 104 was rerouted to have an extra east loop in northeastern McCormick County (new primary routing), with the more direct route north becoming part of SC 432 (now US 221).
In 1947, SC 104 was downgraded to S-33-15 (now US 221); S-33-18 (now US 221); S-33-41 (northern half is now S-33-85); more S-33-18 plus S-24-21 (both now US 221).
