Creation: SC 129 appeared in 1962 as a renumbering of part of US 29, running the way it does now. This is the only SC 129.
Adjustments: In the early 2000s, SC 129's west end was shifted east a little to meet US 29 directly across from Locust St. SC 129 used to cross both SC 292 and SC 358 to meet US 29 at Vernon St.
