SC 131: Appeared in 1936 or 1937 as new primary routing, running from US 76/SC 13-24 (now SC 130) Seneca southeast to Lonsdale.
In 1942, SC 131 was rerouted away from Lonsdale and instead headed east as new primary routing to end at SC 289 Clemson College. The old road into Lonsdale became SC 131 ALT (now S-37-450 and S-37-156).
In 1947, SC 131 was downgraded to S-37-7 (now S-37-447 Cherry St and S-37-37 Main St) and S-37-37 (rerouted slightly by Lake Hartwell - SC 131 used S-37-33; also east of the lake is now in Pickens County S-39-149).
