 		SC 28-Y #1: Appeared in 1938 running as a connection between SC 28 (now SC 68) and US 17-21 (now US 17 ALT-21) Yemassee.
In 1947, SC 28-Y was renumbered as part of mainline SC 28. Today it is the easternmost bit of SC 68.
SC 28-Y #2: Appeared sometime after 1940 as a cutoff wye between SC 28 and SC 72 southwest of Abbeville. In 1957, SC 28-Y became part of the SC 28 bypass.
