Creation: SC 357 appeared in 1950 as an upgrade to S-42-36, running as it does today. This is the only SC 357.
Adjustments: In 1964 (bridge date), SC 357 was removed from Granny Mack Bridge Rd at the Middle Tyger River.
In 1975 (bridge date), SC 357 was removed from S-42-4435 Old Hwy 357 (no longer crosses) over Motlow Creek outside Campobello.
Improvements: SC 357 was fully paved upon designation; no multilane sections
Comment: SC 357 serves Lake Lyman and western Spartanburg County.
