SC 913: Appeared in 1940 as new routing. Began 1/2 mile west of today's S-17-34/829 junction in Dillon County, proceeding west then north across SC 9 Olivers Crossroads, and ending at the North Carolina State Line (continued as Ward Store Rd).
In 1942, SC 913 was extended southeast to SC 41 near Kemper.
In 1947, SC 913 was downgraded to S-17-22 north of SC 9; S-17-20 (now also S-17-22 and S-17-34) between SC 9 and its original east end; S-17-34 the rest of the way to SC 41.
