Creation: Appeared in 1953 or 1954 running from TN 27 (now Betsy Pack Dr) Jasper to TN 56 Tracy City.
Adjustments: About 1980, US 41 was added to the entirety of TN 150. About 1983, TN 150 was extended south into central Jasper, then west with US 64-72 out to I-24. This was a renumbering of TN 27. About 2018, TN 150 was rerouted to follow US 64-72 all the way through Jasper, then north on TN 28 (which now carries US 41), then west on the newly constructed north bypass of Jasper back to Betsy Pack Dr. The old route into downtown Jasper from the north was removed from the stae highway system.
