Creation: Appeared between 1995-98 running as it does today. This was an upgrade to CR 13 from Shinnston to McAlpin and CR 73/73 (had ben WV 73 for years) from McAlpin to US 50. This is the only WV 131. Adjustments: None Improvements: Upon designation, WV 131 was fully paved; no multilane segments. Comment: CR 13 is still posted at the McAlpin turn at CR 73/73. Not sure why this wasn't just an extension of WV 76 when this was put into the primary system.
