The Road: Begins at US 25 below Tuxedo and ends US 25 Business in Hendersonville, all within Henderson County.

History: NC 225 appeared in October 1997 (NCDOT) and was posted summer 1998 [per James Kilbourne e-mail to Matt Steffora] running from US 25 Exit 1 on Bob's Creek Rd over to Old US 25, then north back to US 25 Exit 5 Zirconia. Then NC 225 replaced US 25 Connector on the expressway connection over to I-26.

In September 2003 (NCDOT), NC 225 was rerouted into Hendersonville to end at US 25 Business/US 176), replacing what had been US 25. NC 225 out to I-26 became part of US 25.
