NC 95-A: Appeared as early as 1932 (Texaco map shows NC 95 following the route). It began as US 64/NC 90 Thomas St in Rocky Mount and used Atlantic Ave north to Grand Ave east to Myrtle Ave north to Legget Rd east out of town to end at NC 95.
It appears NC 95-A was downgraded to SR 1243 in 1940.
NC 95-A appeared explicitly on the 1933-39 Officials. 1936 Edgecombe County
