U.S. 25 Connector  dead
Formerly:

US 25 Connector opened about 1967 as a Super-2 between US 25 (now NC 225) near Tuxedo and I-26, which temporarily ended there.
County maps through at least 1972 don't label it as anything, but the 1980 Henderson County map labels it US 25 Connector.
In October 1997 (NCDOT), US 25 Connector was replaced by NC 225. Today this is now mainline US 25.
