VA 542: Appeared in May 1932 (CTB) as an upgrade to CR 4, running from VA 39 (now VA 5) Williamsburg north 3.5 miles towards Magruder.
In July 1932 (CTB), VA 542 was extended north 1.35 miles through Magruder towards Biglers Mill. In July 1933, VA 542 became part of VA 31. Today it is Capitol Landing Rd; VA 5; VA 143; Williamsburg Rd within Camp Peary. VA 542 is not on any map I have seen but it is explicitly mentioned in the CTB minues. |
