Creation: Appeared on Official maps between 1993-96 running from US 21-176-321 along 12th St north to US 378 in West Columbia. This is the 2nd SC 35.
| Adjustments: Between 1998-2000, SC 35 was extended south to I-77, with a break between Godley Rd and SC 2. In 2005 SC 35 is shown as complete.
Improvements: SC 35 was paved and multilaned on all segments upon opening. Comment: SC 35 was not posted until the entirety of it was finished. SC 35 provides an effective back way into Cayce from I-26 via I-77. | Previous SC 35's:

SC 35 #1: An original state route. Ran from SC 41 (current US 52 Business) Darlington northwest through Hartsville to end at SC 50 (now US 1) McBee
In 1923, SC 35 was extended northwest as new primary routing through Jefferson to end at SC 9 Pageland.
In 1925 or 1926, SC 35 was extended north as new primary routing into North Carolina. In 1938, SC 35 was renumbered as SC 151. Today, SC 35 is still SC 151, using all the SC 151 Business routes up to Pageland, and US 601 north of Pageland.
