Previous SC 188 ALT's: 1946 ROUTE LOG SC 185: 0 - 0 SC 188: 0.3 - 0.3		SC 188 ALT: Appeared in 1940 as new primary routing running as a cutoff between SC 185 and SC 188 (now S-1-24) in northern Abbeville County. In 1942, SC 188 ALT was renumbered as part of SC 257. Today it is part of SC 20. SC 188 ALT was shown but not labeled on 1940-41 Officials.	SC 188 ALT 1940 Abbeville County
