From: Holland Store (Anderson County)
To: Starr (Anderson County)
Total Length: 7.2 miles
ROUTE LOG
US 29: 0 - 0
SC 187: 1.4 - 1.4
SC 181: 5.5 - 6.9
SC 81: 0.3 - 7.2
Creation: SC 412 appeared in 1949 as new primary routing, running generally the way it does now. This is the 2nd SC 412.
Adjustments: About 1961, SC 412 was truncated by 0.6 mile to the current US 29 alignment that was built to go around Lake Hartwell. The original SC 412 west end is entirely on dry land and is driveable as Big Water Rd.
Between 1996-2005, SC 412 was extended east over a bit of S-4-156 to the new SC 81 routing east of central Starr.
Improvements: Paved upon designation; no multilane segments
Comment: I have had no experiences with SC 413.
