SC 907: Appeared in Dec 1937 (SCDOT) as new primary routing, running from SC 9 (now SC 9 Bus) Chester northwest 6 miles to today's S-12-29.
In 1939, SC 907 was extended northwest as new primary routing to the York County line.
In 1942, SC 907 was extended north as new primary routing to SC 91 (now SC 49) north of Bullock Creek.

In 1949, SC 907 south was truncated to US 321 north of Chester, replaced by a rerouted US 321 (now this is US 321 Bus).
In 1950, SC 907 was extended north replacing S-46-39 to end at SC 211 Hickory Grove.
In 1951, SC 907 was extended east with SC 211, then north replacing SC 5 to end at the relocated SC 5 in Kings Creek.
In 1960, SC 907 was renumbered as part of an extended SC 97.
