In 1965, TN 107 was removed from Bachman Dr at the north end of the US 11E Greeneville Bypass.
In 1971 (bridge date), TN 107 was rerouted in Del Rio to its current French Broad River crossing. The old bridge was slightly west and TN 107 used Chickasaw Way west to reach US 25-70.
In 1976, TN 107 was removed from Robert Love Rd and some Arnold Rd and put on the current TN 81 south Nolichucky Bridge crossing.

Comment: A curious routing that for many years connected two remote parts of North Carolina through Erwin and Greeneville.
There is a road called 107 cutoff between TN 70 near its TN 107 split and TN 107 southeast of Tusculum, which is TN 351. It is 10 miles shorter to use TN 351 than to follow TN 107's unposted route through Greeneville and Tusculum...a little fuzzy on the wisdom of that.
