Creation: Appeared in 1951 running from TN 26 (now US 70) Lebanon east to Center Hill Dam
Adjustments: In 1953 or 1954, TN 141 was extended in both directions - east across the dam to TN 56 Silver Point and north from Lebanon to TN 52 (now Old Hwy 52) Eulia.
As early as 1960, TN 141 was placed on the new US 70 Bypass of Lebanon, leaving behind Market St and Cedar St in town.
In 1963, despite being very close to I-40 for a long stretch, only a couple parts of TN 141 were altered to make room, notably where TN 141 east first gets to I-40 to parallel it and at Exit 254.
In 1969, TN 141 was straightened out at the railroad bridge just west of TN 56.
In 1992, TN 141 north was truncated to the new TN 52 routing, leaving behind West Side Ln.
In 2009, TN 141 was removed from Old Hartsville Pike near Taylorsville.
In 2014, TN 141 was removed from a loop formed at Ford Rd; abandoned routing just north of the Wilson-Trousdale Line; Cedar Bluff Rd piece plus abandoned routing there to Dr Smith Ln.
