TN 28 Temp: Appeared in 1983 as a renumbering of TN 27 running from US 41 Jasper to TN 283 Whitmell (now the northernmost bit of Valley View Hwy).
In 1990, TN 28 Temp was decommissioned when the current TN 28 was built from east of Jasper to Whitmell. Today it is Valley View Hwy.
