TN 33A: Appeared in 1932 as new routing from TN 33 Maryville (Everett Ave at TN 33) to US 11-70 Knoxville
On state officials 1932-37 it is shown as not complete much south of Knoxville and does not appear in the Knoxville insets. Topos show no road at all between TN 333 and Maloney Rd but label both existing parts as TN 33A. The 1938 Offical shows it complete and on the Knoxville inset. In 1939 or 1940, TN 33A was renumbered as part of TN 73. Today it is US 129/TN 115 except in Maryville TN 33A used Everett Ave, Aluminum Ave, Lincoln Rd, Rankin Rd and TN 35.
