In Nov 1926, US 25E was assigned to TN 33 from Knoxville to Tazewell.
In 1930, TN 33 was rebuilt from Madisonville to Maryville. TN 33 was removed from Niles Ferry Rd. Where Niles Ferry Rd cuts north to Vonore, TN 33 continued northeast along the west edge of thr Tellico River (now underwater) to the Little Tennessee River ferry which was just to the west of the current US 411 bridge; the entire Monroe County piece of TN 33 north of the ferry is now either underwater or abandoned; US 411 northward from Trigonia Rd; Niles Ferry Rd (no longer connected to)/Niles Ferry Pike all the way to Maryville.
Also in 1930, TN 33 was removed from Main St and Old Englewood Rd in Engelwood
In 1931, US 25E was removed from TN 33 in favor of TN 32 southeast to Newport
Also, if TN 33 ever used Walker Dr near today's I-640, it stopped doing so by 1930.
In 1934, TN 33 was rerouted in Knoxville to use Maryville Pike, Chapman Hwy and the new Henley St bridge. The old route used Blount Ave, the Gay St bridge, and Main St west to Henley St

By 1935, TN 33 was removed from Old Knoxville Pike north of Maryville; also if TN 33 ever used Old Knoxville Hwy within New Tazewell it stopped doing so by 1935.
By 1938, TN 33 was moved from Maryville Pike to Ogle Ave/Martin Mill Pike in S. Knoxville

About 2010, TN 33 was removed from Old SR 32 between Tazewell and Springdale
About 2012, TN 33 was removed from Old Hwy 411 south of Benton.
