TN 50A: Appeared in 1935 or 1936 as new routing, running from TN 50 (now Old Lewisburg Hwy) near Fountain Heights south to Culleoka. Maps up through at least 1938 showed this but unlabeled.
In 1949 or 1950, TN 50A was extended from Culleoka east back to TN 50 (now Old Columbua Rd) Lewisburg. In 1972, TN 50A east was extended east replacing TN 50 into downtown Lewisburg to end at US 31A and the rerouted TN 50. In 1981, TN 50A west was truncated to the new TN 50 alignment, leaving behind Old Hwy 50A. In 1983, TN 50A was renumbered as TN 373.
