TN 85A: Appeared in 1961 or 1962 as a much shorter and straighter alternative to TN 85 from Rough Point to TN 53 Gainesboro. It is unclear if TN 85A connected back to TN 85 in Gainesboro or not.
In 1983, TN 85A became part of TN 262. It is unclear why TN 85A did not ever become mainline TN 85.
