WV 86 #1: Appeared 1928 (WVDOT annual report) as new primary routing running from US 50 (now CR 50/21) Blueville north to WV 73 near Morgantown.
By 1928, WV 86 was renumbered as part of WV 56. Today it is part of US 119 (still US 119 except: HARP 931 Haymond Rd in Blueville, CR 30 and CR 30/3 Wilson Ridge Rd, CR 119/16 Kelly Rd, CR 119/19 Boy Scout Camp Rd).
I have not yet located a WV map showing this but it is explicitly mentioned in the 1927 annual Report of the State Highway Commission. Official maps of both Virginia and Pennsylvania show it, though...
