WV 91: Appeared in 1930 (WVDOH Annual Report) as new primary routing, from US 250 (now WV 88) Bethlehem east to US 40 Elm Grove.
Between 1938-42, WV 91 was extended west replacing part of WV 88 to Wheeling. Between 1947-49, WV 91 east was truncated to Bethlehem, with the route to Elm Grove becoming part of WV 88 (the approach to US 40 used Evelyn Ave and Jr Ave.) Between 1984-86, WV 91 was downgraded to CR 18/3 (29th St, Valley Blvd, and W. Bethlehem Pike).
