WV 507: Appears on the 1993 and 2015 Control Destinations lists for the West Virginia primary system. However, unlike other routes on these lists, WV 507 appears to already have existed.
WV 507 appeared about 1978 as a renumbering of US 22 ALT between US 22 (Cove St) and WV 105 in Weirton. WV 507 disappeared from WVDOT Official maps by 1980, though it was still posted through 2001. Today it is posted as CR 507, which now extendeds west on Cove Rd to WV 2 and also includes the old US 22 approach to the Ohio River (Freedom Way).
