U.S. 19 Byp  dead
Formerly:
US 19 Byp was born in July 1983 (AASHTO) as a renumbering of US 19-A. It began at US 19 west of Bryson City and went to Sylva and Waynesville before ending at US 19 Lake Junaluska.
In June 1987 (NCDOT), US 19 Byp was dropped from the route. Although it sorta appears that US 19 Byp was replaced by US 74, technically that is not true. US 74 was added June 1986.
