VA 310 #1: Appeared as a renumbering of part of original VA 133
in August 1928. Ran from US 15-60 (curr US 15 Bus-US 460 Bus) Farmville
to VA 13 (curr US 60) near Cumberland. VA 310 was renumbered as part of
VA 45 in July 1933. It remains VA 45 except VA 310 used SR 1007 Osborn Ave north of Farmville.
VA 310 #2: Virginia School for the Deaf in Staunton. 0.37 miles were assigned to this facility in June 1932 CTB Minutes. This consisted of two segemnts each off of then-VA 254: today's VSDB Drive and Lewelyn Ln. Sometime after 1975, the VSDB piece was extended in a loop back around to itself (no road does this now). VA 310 was gone by April 1991 when current VA 310 was born. Appeared in the 1993 VDOT city atlas and the 1995 county atlas, though.
