 		US 21E: Appeared about 1940 as a renumbering of US 21 south of Parkersburg into town. US 21 EAST was explicitly named in WVDOH Annual Reports and shown on Wood County maps through at least 1949. I believe not long after 1950 this became US 21 ALT. Today it is unsigned WV 14 ALT and a little bit of WV 618.
