ROUTE LOG WV 2, WV 27 SPUR: 0 - 0 WV 88: 5.6 - 5.6 Pennsylvania State Line: 0.4 - 6.0		Creation: Appeared in 1922 as new primary routing running as it does today. This is the only WV 27. Adjustments: In June 1931, AASHO approved making WV 27 part of US 36, extending it from Cadiz OH to Washington PA. This required the state to acquire the toll ferry across the Ohio River at Wellsburg, which evidently never happened.
