| Creation: WV 310 was designated in 1976 as an upgrade to Taylor CR 5 and Marion CR 31, running from US 50 Tygart to WV 73 (now CR 73) Fairmont. This is the only WV 307. Adjustments: In 1977, WV 310 north was extended replacing WV 73 to US 19-250 in downtown Fairmont. About 1979 (bridge date), WV 310 was rerouted to use the new 3rd St crossing of the river and ending at US 250 south of downtown. Jefferson Ave became CR 19/73 In Jan 2018 (per TravelMapping post), WV 310 was extended to US 19 as partially new construction. Improvements: Upon designation, WV 310 was fully paved; appears to have been multilane from I-79 to CR 73 since inception. Comment: Serves Valley Falls State Park
