WV 10: 0 - 0 Boone-Logan Line: 20.1 - 20.1 WV 85: 11.8 - 31.9

Creation: Appeared about 1976 as a renumbering of US 119 running from WV 10 (now CR 210/25) Stallings to WV 85 Madison. This is the 2nd WV 17.
| Adjustments: In late 2023 (WVDOT GIS), WV 17 was extended west with CR 210/25 for a mile, then south over CR 110/58 to end at WV 10. Improvements: Paved upon inception; no multilane segments Comment: WV 17 has a signed TRUCK route at Stallings, using CR 700/63 and CR 119/20. WV 17 was planned to extend across the Guyandotte River to reach the relocated WV 10 expressway, but evidently they elected to extend it over the former WV 10 to the next connection to the new WV 10 alignment. As of August 2025 (GMSV), the extension has not been signed.

WV 17 #1: Appeared 1922 as new primary routing running from WV 3 (now US 60) St Albans to WV 62 (now WV 2) Henderson.
About 1970, WV 17 was replced by US 35. Today it is all of WV 817, a little US 35, and CR 35/11 Chestnut St within Henderson.
